CREWS rushed to tackle a fire near a block of flats in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to the incident on Valiant Close in Padgate at around 2am.
They found an industrial wheelie bin was on fire close to flats.
Crews used a hose reel jet to put out the fire as well as a high pressure fan to clear the smoke.
Two fire engines attended, one from Warrington and one from Birchwood.
