More than 70,000 revellers are set to attend the popular annual music festival, which is being staged in Daresbury from tomorrow, Thursday, through to Sunday.
The force’s Warrington Police team said: “Two teenagers were arrested yesterday, Tuesday, by Project Servator officers on deployment near to the Creamfields site, after they were spotted loitering by properties in Chester Road.
“The 15-year-old boys were found in possession of a number of tools and drugs, and they were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class B drug and going equipped for theft.
“Our Project Servator officers are specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone is planning or preparing to commit an act of crime.
“It is just one of the ways we are helping to reassure festivalgoers and keep you safe at Creamfields.”
