A WARRINGTON business is among a number of select UK law firms embracing new AI technology.
Primas Law, based off Wilderspool Causeway, has announced a significant investment in industry-leading AI technology, partnering with legal sector experts Thomson Reuters.
The investment means Primas Law has become one of the UK’s early adopters of Thomson Reuters’ suite of generative AI tools.
Managing partner Adam Kerr believes that investment in AI will be key to unlocking further growth and potential.
He said: “Since the firm’s inception 10 years ago, we’ve always been very tech-driven with a view to constantly improving how we deliver our services. The recent development of gen AI in our sector presents a huge number of opportunities for law firms.
“At Primas, we have always considered ourselves to be a progressive and dynamic firm, and so it felt natural that we are an early adopter of these tools. Technological advancement and adoption are not just the purview of the huge global law firms.”
Thomson Reuters CoCounsel is a chat-based generative AI assistant across all customer workflows and it helps law firms to research more efficiently, increase productivity and practice with confidence.
Adam added: “Our investment in CoCounsel will allow us to significantly enhance our already quality service offering for clients, reducing research time and leveraging the tool’s generative AI skills to allow our lawyers to better deploy their expertise to enhance the client experience.”
