THE on-field action is about to start again for Warrington Town, with their new National League North campaign getting underway on Saturday.

Off the field, however, the club have taken several major steps forward both before and during the summer.

Having completed upgrades to their Cantilever Park home ground, they struck a deal with Westbrook-based courier service Cal to rename it the Cal.Delivery Stadium, while the players will sport a fresh new look on the pitch this year after new kits - supplied for the first time by US-based Capelli Sports and sporting the logo of new main sponsors Novelis - were launched.

However, perhaps the biggest off-season development is the new off-site club shop, giving Town a permanent retail space.

The shop - located a short walk from Cantilever Park at 665 Knutsford Road, just outside Latchford Village - is now open for business but ahead of its opening, the Guardian was invited to take a look inside...

The club's new home, away and goalkeeper kits will be available to purchase from the shop as well as other leisurewear and club memorabilia, with more lines set to follow in the coming weeks.

The shop is also equipped with a small seating area, a changing room and a table football table.

The shop is now open for business six days per week - opening hours are 10am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

On Tuesdays, the shop will be open until 7pm (except on away matchdays) while it will also open on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm.
