TAKE That’s current tour is certainly one that fans will Never Forget.
After a little Patience due to arena delays, the three-piece band arrived at Manchester's Co-op Live last night, Tuesday, in its This Life tour.
Gary Barlow said how they had finally made it the ‘right venue’, before describing it as ‘beautiful’.
And Mark Owen spoke of how it was just over a kilometre and a half down the road from where he first met his bandmates nearly 35 years ago.
Following on from this, Howard Donald thanked fans for their support over the years, speaking of how the boyband can’t believe they are still selling out stadiums and arenas more than three decades later.
The tour celebrates the release of Take That’s ninth studio album This Life.
Opening with hits Keep Your Head Up and Windows, the band’s new album has certainly gone down a treat judging by the reaction from the packed out 23,500 capacity venue.
As well as new songs, Gary, Mark, and Howard took fans through their music journey, with a wave of 90s nostalgia certainly sweeping through the arena as they belted out tunes such as Pray and A Million Love Songs.
Later on, the audience was blessed with classics such as Patience, The Flood, Greatest Day, and Shine – which was certainly a highlight, with not a bum on a seat or an arm not in the air.
Take That closed what was an incredible night with an encore of Never Forget and Rule the World.
It is safe to say that 35 years later, Take That can still put on one hell of a tour.
