A WOMEN’S Institute is encouraging more new members to join during 2024.
Lowton Women’s Institute based on Newton Road hosted its first meeting of 2024 with a Morris Dancing workshop.
Thelwall Morris Men gave members a talk on the history of Morris Dancing followed by a demonstration before some audience participation.
A spokesperson for Lowton Women’s Institute said: “Needless to say it was a crash course which caused a lot of laughter.
“Next month we have a talk from Andrew Lloyd, the title being chocolate…hmm that could be interesting especially for the chocoholics amongst us.
“If there are any ladies out there looking for a new interest, why not get in touch to arrange a visit to Lowton WI.”
