A SECTION of a busy road linking Winwick Road to the M6 will be hit by a 30mph speed limit.
Winwick Link Road currently has a 70mph limit, but a section is set to be restricted.
This is from the junction with Waterworks Lane to the junction with Winwick Lane.
The Road Traffic Regulation Act order by Warrington Borough Council also encapsulates Winwick Lane, from its junction with Winwick Link Road to the borough boundary with Wigan.
The temporary order will be effective from Monday, November 27, and it will remain in force for a period of 18 months.
The order states that the restrictions are required to allow for highway works associated with the Parkside Development to take place.
