AN 11-year-old from Great Sankey has created his own spooky YouTube content to get viewers into the Halloween spirt.

Jake Jones set up the social media channel and his debut video ‘OMG: Clown House part one’ takes you on an eerie journey to track down an escaped circus clown with comedic consequences.

As an avid YouTube watcher, Jake believed he could similarly produce his own content.

He took inspiration from watching the channel Stromedy, which produces similar spooky videos using drones.

Jake said: "It was really fun doing a spooky video. At first I was really nervous, but after a while I got into it.

He plays the ‘Oh My Ghost’ host in the video, offering live commentary as he searches his house which the clown has broken into.

“The bit in the attic was my favourite part,” he added.

Despite taking two hours of filming and around six hours of editing to complete, Jake really enjoyed the filming process and is very proud of the results.

This video will not be his last, as he plans on making a sequel to his ‘Clown House’ video, as well as a similar video about a werewolf living in the woods near the Trans Pennine Trail.
