THE ultimate tribute to one of the most extraordinary eras in music is coming – signed, sealed, delivered – to Parr Hall.
Greatest Hits of Motown – How Sweet It Is will be turning back the clock in Warrington on Saturday, October 28.
This slickly choreographed show will have fans Dancing on the Ceiling with unforgettable songs from legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye.
Motown, the music sensation that changed America and the world, was set into motion when Berry Gordy founded Tamla Records in Detroit with a loan from his family. By the following year, he merged this into the Motown Record Corporation.
More than 60 years on, Motown’s classic catalogue continues to provide the blueprint for so many of the modern soul and pop successes of the 21st century.
Tickets are from £30 and are on sale now. Visit parrhall.culturewarrington.org or call the box office on 442345.
