A 14-YEAR-OLD from St Helens has secured a spot in the semi-finals to become Miss Junior Teen Great Britain 2023.
Alicia Scott has always had an interest in pageants and has described being in for the chance to win the title to be a "dream come true."
The St Cuthbert’s High School pupil is awaiting to hear if she’s secured a place in the finals which will be held in Blackpool later this year.
Alicia’s mum Nicola said: "I can’t believe it; I’m really proud and made up for her.
"From being a little girl, she’s always been into beauty pageants.
"She’s feeling really lucky right now and is hoping to make her way into the final."
Alicia added: "Making it to the final would be a dream come true; fingers crossed I will be able to represent my hometown and win the Miss Junior Teen Great Britain Crown."
The winner of Miss Teen Great Britain 2023 will be announced at the ceremony in Blackpool in October.
