THERE are delays on the M62 this morning, Wednesday, after an accident.
One lane is blocked with queueing traffic due to an accident on the eastbound carriageway.
This has occurred between junction 11 for Birchwood and junction 12 for Eccles Interchange.
Congestion is leading back to junction 8 for Burtonwood and travel time is around 35 minutes.
There was an earlier accident on the M62 eastbound just before junction seven for Rainhill Stoops and residual delays may remain.
