A LARGE emergency service presence was called out to a residential street over the weekend.

Cheshire Police, North West Ambulance Service and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were all called to Chapelford on Saturday evening.

In total, five police cars, two fire engines from Warrington and Penketh fire stations and an ambulance attended Houston Gardens at around 8pm.

Both the police and fire service have confirmed that emergency services attended to assist following reports of a chemical leak in a property from a domestic appliance.

Fire crews were called to support North West Ambulance Service with the incident.

Limited detail is being disclosed however ‘owing to the need to maintain the confidentiality of the patient involved’.

This is often the case with incidents which do not occur in a public place.
