A NEW trader owned by two passionate foodies has set up at Warrington Market.

Sticky Fingers, owned by Polish husband and wife Adrian and Klaudyna Koss, opened its doors this month.

And the business will be bringing traditional Polish-style treats to the town – coupled with Adrian and Klaudyna’s passion for food.

The business was launched around six months ago in Stockport, but after visiting the town for Warrington Food and Drink Festival over the summer, the pair, who moved to the UK six years ago, spotted an empty stall in the market.

They received great feedback for their goods and enjoyed their day in Warrington, so they decided to apply for the stall.

“We thought it would be nice to introduce Polish cuisine in Warrington,” said pastry chef Klaudyna.

Sticky Fingers offers all kind of homemade goods - including Polish-style pastries, cakes and bread - which are produced daily by the business’ bakery team.

And the items on the menu are constantly changing, but so far a customer favourite is the chocolate éclairs.

Since its launch, Sticky Fingers has had a number of sell outs and Adrian and Klaudyna, who met in Poznań, have received lots of positive feedback.

The couple are looking forward to continue sharing their ‘passion and heart’ with Warrington residents.

Klaudyna, who has always worked in the hospitality industry, added: “I always knew I would like to have my own little business.

“I enjoy being a host. You can met a lot of very nice people and just introduce your products and share your heart with them.

“We both really love food.

“We are from an adventurous background and when we go somewhere it is just food, and food and food.”

The pair, who live in Dukinfield, will be based between both sites in Warrington and Stockport.

And their friend of many years, Marta, will be helping to run Warrington’s Sticky Fingers.
