GOLDFRAPP often slip under the radar.
Are they a dance act? Are they pop? Maybe even indie? (I know that's a stretch).
But this fourth studio album Seventh Tree shows off their skills to the best.
Lead singer Alison's voice is outstanding and Seventh Tree gives her the perfect vehicle to show it off.
The fantastically titled A&E and Caravan Girl both stand out from the crowd on the rest of the album, but at just 10 tracks the overall quality of the album shows that less is definitely more for the dozens of artists who seem obsessed with packing as many tracks as possible on an album.
Quality not quantity is the key and Goldfrapp obviously realise this.
