ANOTHER group of travellers have arrived in Warrington.
The group have set up an unauthorised encampment on the car park of the Marks and Spencer store in Gemini.
Around seven caravans and associated vehicles have pitched up on the eastern side of the car park close to Ikea.
It is believed that they entered the site yesterday, Monday.
It comes as a court hearing has been requested to order travellers to vacate Crab Lane playing fields.
Four caravans and towing vehicles pitched up on the sports pitches on Saturday, August 13.
But the number of caravans on the site has since risen to nine, according to an unauthorised encampment log for Warrington and Cheshire run by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
A notice was served for the group to leave the council-owned land, but this has now expired and the caravans remain. As a result, the council has requested a court date hearing.
