A LARGE firefighter presence is planned in Warrington town centre tomorrow, Friday.
This is due to an organised training event in Time Square leisure complex.
The exercise will involve high-rise buildings at the precinct and see firefighters from Warrington and Penketh fire stations in attendance.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is urging members of the public not to be alarmed should they see firefighters in action.
It is stressing that there is no emergency and fire crews’ presence is simply for training purposes.
In a message to the public, Warrington Fire Station said: “Tomorrow, red watches at Warrington and Penketh will be involved in an arranged high-rise simulated exercise at Time Square car park in Warrington.
“Please do not be alarmed if you see us, this is for our monthly training.”
