THE courts have handed a fine to a motorist for his standard of driving on a school car park.
Mark Barrow admitted driving a car on Culcheth Community Primary School car park without due care and attention.
The 48-year-old committed the offence, which took place on April 26 this year on the grounds of the Warrington Road school in a BMW.
Barrow, of Hermitage Close in Hermitage Green, appeared before Warrington Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday, July 27, to face the charge.
He pleaded guilty and was subsequently fined £415 by magistrates.
The defendant was also ordered to pay court costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £42.
In addition, magistrates ordered that Barrow’s driving record be endorsed with four penalty points.
