WE have all seen or heard music performed in quirky venues.

Though Warrington bus interchange may top it – unless, of course, you have been to one of the three previous events in 2012, 2013 or 2018.

Artists are performing between 11am and 5pm at the free gig on Saturday, July 30 hosted by WArrington Music (WAM).

Among those performing are 12-year-old Daniel Green who played on his first stage at the Young Traders Market recently, Newton-born Jessica Luise who played at RivFest main stage in 2021 and Paul Nixon who will headline Friars Court on Friday, August 19.

Lee Harman, editor of WAM said: "Whilst we love those late night gigs in licensed locations, we're all about bringing local music to as many people as possible.

“So these events are all about reaching out where people may not expect live music and making it approachable for everyone.

"So make a day of it and enjoy all this great music in a totally unique environment, and support local music in the town. It could possibly be the most well-connected music venue in the north west.”
