LYMM’s Ian Brown will be joined by former Northside frontman Dermo in his first solo headline tour in more than a decade later this year.

On the tour, the indie legend will visit venues such as Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse and Liverpool Uni Mountford Hall.

And he will be joined by special guest Dermo – real name Warren Dermody – over September and October.

Brown, originally from Orford, was due to last play in Warrington at Neighbourhood Weekender 2021 before he was replaced by James.

The 59-year-old – formerly the lead singer of The Stone Roses – will now take to Manchester on Friday, September 30.

That gig is preceded by performances in Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle.

And on Saturday, October 1, he will play in Liverpool before visiting Birmingham, Bournemouth, Nottingham and London in early October to round off the tour.
