THIS is a first look at the new French restaurant and cabaret in Stockton Heath.

La Boom, based on London Road above The Wine Bar, is now open and welcoming guests.

Its opening night on Friday, July 1 was booked up.

The cuisine has a 'provincial French accent' and provides entertainment on the raised stage in the centre of the room.

The restaurant has previously been Harvey’s and prior to that, Tom at 101 for more than a decade.

La Boom, which has a philosophy of 'food and entertainment for life', will have a regularly changing menu featuring daily specials and classic dishes.

They say the chefs are constantly working to innovate and bring influences from across the world to their dishes.
