FOLLOWING the return of Warrington Walking Day, there are lots of events going on around the town.

The iconic event has not been held since 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic but tomorrow, Friday, it returns.

So, we thought we would run through the events - that include a lot of family fun - happening around Warrington.

The Imperial Pub and Hotel

Following the day, the Bewsey Road pub will be supplying lots of fun.

A £5 wristband can be bought for all-day use for the kids.

There is a DJ from midday, a bouncy castle and lots of games.

And Super Bennie Westwood will be serving burgers from his van too – what more could you want?

The Ring O’Bells

There will be a party full of family fun on Church Street on Friday as Warrington keeps the tradition of walking day going.

To celebrate, The Ring O’Bells will bring back their bouncy castle.

There will also be live music, drink offers and what is described as ‘an all-around party’ after opening at 11.30am.

The Blackburne Arms

There is set to be family fun for all ages in Orford Green on Friday.

There will be games, tombola, raffles, local crafters and small businesses visiting, children’s crafts and lots of food options including cakes and bakes.

Blu Bar

In the beer garden of the bar on Folly Lane, there is a family fun day taking place with DJs all day long, an ice cream van, a bouncy castle and an assault course.

Victoria Park and Orford Park

Silcock’s fun fair will be supplying a lot of enjoyment to families over the weekend too.

At both Victoria Park in Latchford and Orford Park, there will be fun days on Friday 12pm – 9pm, Saturday 12pm – 9pm and Sunday 12pm – 5pm including rides, food, drinks and more.

Flanagans Irish Bar
