DARESBURY residents have been invited to share a £10,000 community fund.
Redrow has just moved into Daresbury Garden Village and to celebrate, the firm is launching a community fund for the area.
Previous Redrow funding across the north west has helped schools, charities, youth groups, sports teams and individuals at the very heart of the community - providing a range of resources including play equipment, defibrillators, furniture, food parcels, counselling and more.
“Our community funds have made such an impact in other areas of the North West that even before homes here at Daresbury Garden Village were released for sale we’d started receiving enquiries from local projects asking when and how they could apply for funding,” said Anna Evans-Kerr, Redrow NW sales director.
“We very much want to hear from good causes in the Daresbury area, especially those near to our development.”
Redrow’s Daresbury Fund is linked to Daresbury Garden Village, the first phase of the development has been named Gleaves View, a reference to the grade II listed George Gleaves Bridge, one of several bridges that cross the Bridgewater Canal nearby.
