WOOLSTON based Jen Perry, founder of Room Forty mobile Afternoon Tea Parlour and Baking School, is set to star with a baking masterclass and demonstration in the Cakes and Desserts Theatre at the Foodies Festival at Tatton Park next month.

The Foodies Festival is set to tantalise the tastebuds when it kicks off at Tatton Park near Knutsford from July 8 to 10.

Jen joins a roster of cooks, chefs and bakers set to include MasterChef winners Tom Rhodes and Daniel Lee, along with Great British Bake Off Stars and Great British Menu chefs including Warrington’s own Liam Rogers and Aiden Byrne cooking in the Chefs Theatre. The full line up is to be announced soon.

This marks a return of the Foodies Festival following two years of lockdown. The event promises a feast of fun with something for everyone.

Jen Perry has previously appeared in the Cakes and Desserts Theatre at the Foodies Festival three times and is back by popular demand. The theatre is organised and led by the talented and vivacious Charlotte White of Restoration Cakes.

Jen’s multi award-winning business, Room Forty was recently declared Afternoon Tea Company of the Year at the Manchester & Northwest England Prestige Awards 2021/22 adding another accolade to the roster of awards already won by the business.

Jen said: "It’s an honour to be asked back. I love the Foodies Festival and have missed it over lockdown. As well as the great roster of baking and cookery demonstrations, they have some amazing food stalls and pop ups plus some top bands playing.

"I’m really excited, it is a thrill and a privilege to share the stage with Charlotte and such other talented bakers. I can’t wait."
