A PERSON has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a kitchen in Latchford.
The incident happened just after 5.30pm on Friday, June 10 and two appliances were sent to the scene.
Firefighters from Warrington and Lymm stations tackled the fire using hose reels and the used a large fan to disperse smoke from the house.
One person was treated at the scene suffering from the effects of smoke inhalation and crews also checked for hot spots in the affected property and those nearby.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to a fire involving a kitchen in a property in Warrington at 5.36pm.
“One fire engine from Warrington and one from Lymm were dispatched to the scene.
“The crews used two hose reels to fight the fire and a large fan to remove smoke from the property.
“First aid was given to one casualty who suffered smoke inhalation.
“A thermal imaging camera was also used to check the property involved and those nearby.”
