MAKING the final of Britain’s Got Talent meant Westbrook youngster Aneeshwar Kunchala spent a lot of time backstage.

During this time, the seven-year-old got to meet and get to know some of the acts he was performing alongside.

Aneeshwar was able to make ‘very good’ friends in his Britain’s Got Talent journey, particularly with the other children involved in the competition.

The Westbrook youngster got to know ventriloquist Jamie Leahey from St Helens, who was runner-up, members of the Scooter Boys and the Five Star Boys team.

Anil Kunchala, Aneeshwar’s dad, said: “It was really nice to see the children reaching the semi-finals and then finals and just having fun.

“The best way I could describe it is that they are having fun and make friends – rather than it being like a competition.

“As a parent I feel really happy with how the young people were supporting and complimenting each other at such a big stage in the competition.”

Aneeshwar also got to meet all four judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
