POLICE have charged a suspected pervert who is reported to have exposed himself to schoolgirls in public.
Officers say the man is believed to be behind two incidents reported to Cheshire Police last week.
These allegedly saw two girls aged 12 and 13 flashed by a man near to a high school in west Warrington.
Police say a 35-year-old has been arrested and subsequently charged with exposure, breaching a sexual harm prevention order and possessing class B drugs.
He is due to appear before the courts at a later date.
In an update, the force’s Warrington Police team said: “Last week, two incidents relating to a male exposing himself were reported.
“The male had targeted 12 and 13-year-old females near a high school in west Warrington.
“Due to the efforts and diligent enquiries by officers from Warrington beat management teams, a 35-year-old male was identified and arrested on May 25.
“He has subsequently been charged with offences of exposure, breach of a sexual harm prevention order and possession of class B drugs and has been remanded to court.”
