HERE are three sets of roadworks due to start in Warrington in the next few weeks.
You can find more public notices in the Local Listing section of the Warrington Guardian.
- Birchwood Park Avenue
Six weeks of overnight closures are planned due to roadworks in Birchwood.
The carriageway resurfacing will be taking place from 7pm to 1am from Monday, May 30, onwards.
Between these hours, Birchwood Park Avenue will be blocked from the roundabout at Garret Field and Glover Road up to the junction with Warrington Road and Daten Avenue.
Glover Road will shut from Birchwood Park Avenue to Havisham Close, and Kelvin Close will be closed.
Alternative routes will be in place via Daten Avenue, Birchwood Way and George Duckworth Island.
- Winwick Lane
Highway survey works will see roads in Winwick subjected to overnight closures for one week.
This will be in effect between 7pm and 6am from Monday, June 6.
Parkside Road will be shut from Golborne Road to the borough’s boundary with St Helens during these times, while Winwick Lane will be closed between the same border and junction 22 of the M6.
Diversions will be via Winwick Link Road, Newton Road, Mill Lane and Southworth Lane.
- Kenyon Lane
The road will be closed between Heath Lane and Main Lane for two weeks from Monday, June 20.
This is required due to a planned culvert reconstruction.
Motorists are advised to take an alternative route by Stone Pit Lane, Sandy Brow Lane, Winwick Lane and Newton Road.
