And even the rain held off for the 130th Lymm May Queen procession.
The event moved back to its traditional May date this year and the theme was the Queen’s jubilee.
And as 2022 marks 70 years of Disney, there were also plenty of Disney characters in the procession including ones Frozen and 101 Dalmations.
The day continues after the procession as there are plenty of food and drink stalls in the area as well as fairground rides and various other events.
This year’s May Queen was Fay Griffiths while the Rose Queen was Lilly Raftery.
