LEGOLAND Discovery Centres are offering Blue Light Card holders discounted entry and access to new themed activities to celebrate the work of the UK’s emergency service teams.

Between May 21 and June 5, Blue Light members can access the Discovery Centres in Manchester and Birmingham starting at just £9.99.

The incredible offer price is a tribute to the UK’s most famous phone number, 999, which of course takes those in need straight through to emergency service workers.

The fun doesn't stop there either since the LEGO lovers will be able to enjoy themed challenges throughout the attraction in honour of the emergency services.

Visitors can test their building skills with the hero build competition where they can construct an emergency service-related task.

Get practising with your favourite LEGO sets at home since the winners of the contest will be announced throughout the day!

Carry on the building and create your own emergency vehicle which you can send whizzing along a thrilling zipwire.

The LEGOLAND Discovery Centre team will be encouraging guests to build their own rainbows which will be added to a 'thank you table' to create a giant representation of the city's gratitude towards the emergency services.

Report for duty at LEGOLAND's scavenger hunt that will take you throughout MINILAND in an epic rescue mission to save the mini heroes who are lost in the mini-LEGO cities.

The LEGO hero mascots will be joining guests on-site for a fun pop-up dance party and for a meet and greet with your kid's favourite LEGO city characters.

You can also catch the LEGO City short film - An Officer in Pursuit - at the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre's 4D cinemas which will be screening in celebration of the week-long event.

Amy Langham General Manager at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham said: “We are really looking forward to inviting all of our visitors to enjoy and take part in celebrating our front-line heroes. Our Model Citizens (team) have worked hard to create an environment which will allow kids and adults to experience the values that the emergency services a.k.a LEGO legends represent and create some fun memories at the same time.”

When entering, you need to present your Blue Light card along with your booking and you can visit with up to 6 people at this price per person during the event period (with a valid Blue Light Card)

All £9.99 tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable and adults must be accompanied by a child to visit.

All children under 3 must have a valid (free) ticket as well.
