THE owner of a group that supports bereaved parents is donating resources to Warrington Hospital to support families.

Rebecca Garrity founded Little Rainbows after she and her boyfriend Scott Gibbons sadly lost her daughter Freya Elizabeth Gibbons at 36 weeks in 2019.

She noticed that there were no support groups in the town where mums and dads who have lost children could go.

And now, Rebecca is holding a Little Rainbows party next month in order to fundraise.

Money raised will go towards donating resources to Warrington Hospital and will also be used to ensure Little Rainbows sessions can continue to run.

‘Little Rainbow bags’ will be donated to the hospital which will contain self-care items and little memory items for the babies as well as a rainbow teddy.

Rebecca is also hoping to provide some items for families when they have sadly lost their babies.

Rebecca said: “We have chose the local hospital as its close to us and the support we received from them when we lost Freya and throughout our pregnancy was unbelievable.

“It would be so nice to give back and help the local community.”

The party is taking place on June 1 between 12.30pm and 2.30pm at Mini Mania Play Cafe and will have 90 minutes of soft play, parachute games, a buffet, and personalised party favours for children.

There will also be a raffle which has some amazing prizes from local businesses including four drink vouchers from Dead Eyes Cocktail Bar and Street Food, one month of free group personal training from Rae Volution Gym, a £50 voucher from AfterDark L.E.D Events Hire and a £25 voucher for the White Hart.
