A MAN has admitted that he rode a stolen moped while in excess of the alcohol driving limit.
Christopher Roberts, of Catherine Way, Newton-le-Willows, appeared before Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court on April 28.
Roberts, 25, had previously pleaded guilty in a previous hearing last July to a charge of drink driving.
He had ridden a Diablo moped on Mercer Street, Newton-le-Willows, on December 8, 2020, while in excess of the limit with 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Roberts had also previosuly admitted to riding the moped without a licence and without insurance.
In his latest hearing, the 25-year-old also pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods, namely the Diablo moped.
He had previously denied the charge but changed his plea to guilty, admitting he had handled the moped while knowing or believing it to be stolen.
The case was adjourned until June 9 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Roberts was granted unconditional bail until then.
