WE'RE celebrating the fabulous work of former Warrington Guardian photographic manager Eddie Fuller, who died last week aged 88.
Eddie's pictures documenting the highs and lows of Warrington Wolves in the Guardian from 1971 to the mid-1990s are legendary.
And it is clear to see why.
In this first collection of 20 pictures, award-winning photographer Eddie did what he did best - capturing moments that can live with us forever.
His images tell so many stories - whether it is the jubilation of a cup triumph, the pain of defeat, the mood of the times, the characters that brightened or dampened our days, the atmosphere of matchday, the tough and gritty world of rugby league, the magical moment of scoring a try or just a generally brilliant piece of play.
Home or away, he had a knack for being in the right place at the right time - usually behind the sticks in readiness for a Wire try.
Mingled in with part one of his Wire pictures collection are tributes to Eddie that have been posted on social media channels since he sadly passed away.
