A MAN has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance on Folly Lane in Bewsey at 5.15pm on Monday, May 2.
Two men, aged 34 and 54, were arrested on suspicion of using threatening and abusive language.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The 54-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.
“Both men have been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.”
