A CAR was delilberately set on fire at a car park, say firefighters.
The police are now investigating the incident.
Emergency crews found the vehicle well alight inside a car park on Hoyle Street at 10.15pm on Friday.
One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus put out the fire using a hose reel jet.
A second car was showing signs of heat but did not ignite.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
“A fire investigation was carried out and the incident handed over to the police.”
