THIS is the outdoor adventure park which is just down the road from Warrington that is reopening.

BeWILDerwood Cheshire has announced it are returning for more outdoor fun this year, launching their new opening dates for 2022.

It is due to reopen its gates on February 19, just in time for school half-term.

The attraction opened last year in Bickley Moss, to the south of Tarporley, just five miles from Whitchurch, and immediately became a hit with its popular play structures being enjoyed by many families.

The multi-million-pound investment was created to encourage people to put down their smartphones and enjoy some traditional, fun, outdoor play.

Park manager Hannah Monteverde said: “After such a fantastic opening last year, the ‘Twiggle Team’ can’t wait to reopen and bring even more BeWILDerwood magic to the area.

“As well as our famous Slippery Slides, Wobbly Zip Wires and Storytelling Shows we are also excited for visitors to explore our new play structure, The Towering Treetop Tangles.”

The new structure offers a mixture of ground play, high-level walkways and tall platforms for people to enjoy and be able to overlook the stunning scenery Cheshire has to offer.

Hannah added: “We will also have face painting this year, which as with everything here at BeWILDerwood is included in the ticket price – so no hidden costs, just lots and lots of fun for explorers.”

BeWILDerwood opened its first park in Norfolk in 2007, which is now one of the most popular and successful tourist attractions in the east of England.

The park will partially open for school holidays and weekends from February 19 with full, every day opening beginning on April 2.

Tickets were available to book on their website from January 12 and people are being encouraged to book in advance due to the high demand that was seen last year.

Prices start from £13.50 and vary depending on your height and annual passes are also available.
