A WOMAN has been charged with robbery after reports that three suspects had forced entry into a house.
Police received a report that two men and a woman had told the occupant they needed to enter his property in Wrigley Road, Haydock, due to a gas leak.
It was reported at around 8.45am on Sunday that the three had forced entry into the property, searched the house and took paperwork from one of the rooms.
They were then reported to have left the scene in a silver Citroen C3 car.
The occupant was said to be uninjured but left "extremely shaken" by the incident, police said.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident on Monday.
Police have since confirmed that Kellie Williams, of Weavers Fold, Fairfield has been charged with robbery.
Williams, 34, was remanded in custody and appeared in court this morning, Tuesday, January 11.
Police are still appealing for anyone with information in relation to the incident to come forward.
