Popular bar The Firkin Tap, based on Buttermarket Street, has been placed on the market.
And so too has Right on Cue, the pool bar also on Buttermarket Street.
On Facebook, co-owner Tony Neill wrote: “Due to everything that we have been through in the last 18 months we feel that our hearts are not in it anymore.
“Daniel and I have decided that we’re not going to be doing any other business ventures in the near future.
“We thank everyone for their support especially in the most difficult times that we had.
"Also our businesses are not failing we’re still suffering from heartache due to closing our new businesses for nearly 12 months.
“Business will still resume as normal and we apologise for any upset. Thank you.”
Daniel Hornsey added: "We are starting a new chapter in our lives and thank all those who have visited us in the past."
