NO deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours of patients that were receiving care for coronavirus at Warrington Hospital.
This is according to the latest Covid-19 update released by Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust this afternoon, Tuesday.
It means that as a result, the trust’s virus death toll to date remains at 595.
At present, 97 patients at the Lovely Lane site are being cared for after testing positive for Covid in the past 14 days or less.
Of this number, four are in the hospital’s intensive care unit.

This is a fall of two patients in total since yesterday, although the number in the ICU remains unchanged.
Moreover, a further 18 patients were discharged from Warrington Hospital in the past 24 hours after recovering from coronavirus.
This takes the trust’s virus discharge total since the start of the pandemic to 2,824.
