A CARAVAN has been damaged in an arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Newton Lane at around 3.30pm on Sunday.
Crews, wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to put out the fire which is believed to have been started deliberately.
Firefighters from Widnes and Runcorn dealt with the incident.

Firefighters also tackled a car fire on Cromwell Avenue four hours later at around 7.30pm.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and monitored the temperature of the fire using a thermal imaging camera.
