THESE pictures were spotted in a sift through Warrington Guardian's archives.
They were taken at a Warrington Wolves home game in 1996.
In that first season of Super League - when the top-flight game switched to a summer season with full-time playing squads - a number of offers were made available to the town's schoolchildren to help them have a taste of the sport at Wilderspool Stadium.
And these pictures are from one of those occasions, when discounted tickets were made available through the Guardian and youngsters responded in their hundreds.
In these turnstile queues and terraces pictures, take a look to see if there is anybody you recognise. Some of them have their free posters on display and others are posed with Guardian promotions staff of the time.
