Maybe Stef Ratchford, who has played everywhere else in the team, said he'd like a go at prop forward next season?
Was it that somebody shared the memory of Wire playing head coach Daryl Powell's former team Castleford Tigers on a waterlogged pitch at The Jungle a few years back?
Or did Powelly put them all in red vests and threaten to send a bull after them to test their sharpness.
Whatever it was, it is good to see the Wire lads getting through this second phase of their pre-season slog with a smile on their faces.
