AROUND 400 of the town's youngsters tackled the third round of the Neville Jones Warrington Schools Cross Country League at Walton Hall and Gardens.
Races were run in various age groups and primary and senior school level, with family and friends gathering around the course to cheer them on as they battled through the mud and rain on a cold morning.
