POLICE have taken action against a driver after the vehicle he was driving in at Ellesmere Port was in no fit state for the road.
The North West Motorway Police force removed the Mitsubishi Pajero vehicle from the motorway on Monday, December 6 due to it being in a dangerous condition.
Photos taken by the force clearly show the vehicle's dreadful condition, with the car's lack of windows, wing mirrors, tail lights, crumpled bodywork and being coated in mud.
The force added the driver was taken off the road for drug-driving, possession of drugs, no insurance, no MOT and using a vehicle in a dangerous condition.
