MORE damage from strong winds is to be expected with another storm set to roll into town.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for gusts across the UK – which has since been named as Storm Barra.
The warning will come into force from 9am tomorrow, Tuesday, and will remain in place through to midnight that night.
It comes after Storm Arwen battered the UK over the weekend of November 26 to 28, uprooting trees and causing damage to vehicles and property.
Meteorologists say that some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely, with cancellations to services probable.
Some short term loss of power and other services is also possible.
A Met Office spokesman said: “A deep area of low pressure moving in across the UK from the Atlantic is likely to bring high winds to many parts of the UK.
“Strong winds will arrive in the west through the morning, spreading inland and reaching eastern areas through the afternoon and early evening.
“Gusts of 45-50mph are expected widely, with 60-70mph in exposed coastal locations.
“Strongest winds will ease across inland areas into the overnight period.”
