WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed two more signings for their women's team.

Twin sisters Lucy and Emily Baggaley have joined The Wire from neighbours Wigan Warriors ahead of the 2022 Betfred Women's Super League season.

The signings of the 22-year-olds follow on from last week's news that centre Katie-May Williams and hooker Grace Ramsden had joined from St Helens and Bradford Bulls respectively.

Prop Lucy, who was ever-present for Wigan in 2021, said: “I wanted a new challenge with a new group of girls and a different skillset. I want to better myself now as a player.

“Everyone I’ve met so far has been brilliant and I’m loving it. I feel like with this group of girls there’s a good drive here.

"There’s the ultimate goal of getting promoted but I feel we’re all going to push each other to meet our individual goals too.

“With a good pre-season hopefully we can start our season off strongly.”

Centre of second rower Emily added: "“I feel that I needed a change and I believe that Warrington can help me develop my game and improve me as a player.

“With the new additions and the girls that are already here I believe we will be up there competing for promotion.

"It’s an exciting time and I’m really enjoying it.”
