You can find more public notices in the Local Listing section of the Warrington Guardian.

  • Lumb Brook Road, Stockton Heath

Warrington Borough Council has given notice that roadworks on Lumb Brook Road which started in the summer have overrun.

This is due to ‘lead in times of materials and engineering difficulties on site’.

Closures will therefore remain in place until Thursday, December 23.

  • Grappenhall Road, Stockton Heath

The A56 will be subject to 12 weeks of pavement resurfacing work between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm from Monday, January 17.

Parkgate Road and Sandy Lane are also affected as a result, with no parking allowed on any of the three roads during these times.

  • Residential streets in Birchwood

Roadworks will close Havisham Close and Bramshill Close in Birchwood for seven weeks between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm, starting on Monday, January 17.

This is due to carriageway patching and resurfacing.

  • Various roads across Warrington

Parking will be prohibited on a number of roads across the town in the New Year due to footway resurfacing works.

The affected street are Wellfield Street in Whitecross, Pewterspear Lane in Appleton, Warrington Road in Lymm, Pelham Road in Thelwall and Gainsborough Road in Lower Walton.

Cranborne Avenue, Landseer Avenue and Burgess Avenue are also affected as a result of the latter works.

These orders will be in place for 12 weeks between 9am and 5pm from Monday, January 10, onwards.
