A MERCEDES ended up on top of a rubbish bin after the driver mistook ‘drive’ for ‘reverse’ in their automatic car.
The incident happened outside the Spar Store on Chester Road, Preston Brook.
Officers were able to put the bin back in place and the damage has been reported to the parish council.
No injuries were reported.
