WORK has begun on one of the new stands planned for construction at Warrington Rylands' Gorsey Lane home.
The build will house new changing facilities for players and match officials to replace the existing temporary units.
The club aims to have the new stand, which will also include hospitality facilities for players and officials and supporters' seating, operational by the new year.
Back in June, planning permission was granted for three new stands to be built around the main pitch at Gorsey Lane despite objection from residents surrounding parking and noise.
