Scott Bennett and Jeff Innocent to take to Stockton Heath

The 4th Warrington (1st Stockton Heath) Scout Group is in need of the funds to help them bounce back from coronavirus.

And performing is the likes of ‘the best comic you’ve never heard of’, Jeff Innocent – according to the London Evening Standard and ‘the hottest property in comedy’ in Scott Bennett.

The events will take place at Stockton Heath Scout Centre on Parkgate Road on Friday and Saturday, November 19 and 20.

“The group, like everybody, has been impacted by Covid and as we bounce back we thought it would be fitting to bring the local community together for a night of laughter,” Jason Pye, chairman of the scout group said.

“The money raised will contribute to the refurbishment of our building which will benefit both our members and local community groups for years to come.

"Our group is really excited to be working alongside Comedy At Work to deliver two nights of stand-up comedy here in Stockton Heath.”

Mark Hinds, co-owner of Comedy At Work, feels very fortunate to be providing such headliners.

Jeff recently supported John Bishop and Scott has just filmed his Live at the Apollo and performed as a support act for Rob Brydon.

Also involved across the weekend is internet sensation Mel Moon and finalist in Jason Manford’s nationwide competition Sachin Kumarendren.

Likewise, so too is Sam Day, who Mark says has gone from ‘tax accountant to one of the hottest properties on the comedy circuit’ and Ben Lund, a Warrington comedian himself.

Mark added: “These guys are really supportive of what we do, they are absolutely fantastic and they give everyone a great show.”
