WHAT a moment for Alex Mitchell.
Not content with picking up his first senior international cap, the former Lymm High School student marked the occasion with a try.
The scrum-half, who came through the junior ranks at Lymm RFC and now plays his club rugby with Northampton Saints, came off the bench for England during their Autumn International against Tonga at Twickenham yesterday.
He had appeared for England's senior team before in an uncapped match against the Barbarians but having represented his country at every age group from under 16s to under 20s, this was his first full cap for the Red Rose.
Fittingly, Mitchell rounded off the scoring with the 11th and final try for Eddie Jones' side as they swept aside the Pacific Islanders 69-3.
